The procedure

What is the result of laser spider vein treatment?
The effect of the treatment may be assesed in 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure. The healing process always depends on the extent of the procedure, on the energy applied and on individual dispositions. You may experience mild redness and swelling, but may return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Moisturizer with sunscreen is recommended for a week after treatment. For larger lesions like cherry angiomas, the lesion may turn purplish in color after the procedure, and then disappear in 1-2 weeks. It may happen that the procedure will have to be repeated once or more times, if the results are not satisfactory.
