Corrective Treatment of Facial Wrinkles Using a Non-Operative Method

Botox/Dysport is injected in very small quantities to problematic areas of the face. When it is injected into a muscle, it blocks the specific nerve impulse. The muscle activity – that causes the developing of facial wrinkles- is disabled, and the respective muscle can no longer be tensed as usual. Other nerve functions &nd ash; such as the skin´s sense of touch – are not influenced.
Botox/Dysport can remove facial mimic (dynamic) wrinkles on the forehead, glabella (between eyebrows) and around eyes.
Botox/Dyport can also remove excessive sweating of armpits, palms and soles.
The effect develops in 2-3 days after the injection and lasts approximately for 4-6 months. Repeated treatments can extend the effect up to one year. The effect of Botox/Dysport can be enhanced by combining this preparation with other wrinkle-removing methods (chemical peel).
